Self-Catering Cottages
Suidster offers private cottages with mountain views, a private entrance, and a fully equipped kitchen. Each unit includes a hot tub, spa bath, balcony, patio, fireplace, and BBQ facilities. The open-plan layout features a comfortable seating area, dining table, and branded towels and bedding. Some cottages have a wood-fired hot tub and outdoor shower.
Self-Catering & BBQ
There is no on-site restaurant. Each cottage comes with a fully equipped kitchen featuring a stove, oven, fridge, and essential cookware. Guests can use the indoor fireplace or outdoor braai area for cooking. A complimentary bottle of sparkling wine is provided on arrival.
Hot Tub & Hiking Trails
Enjoy the wood-fired hot tub under the stars, the kolkol (outdoor fire pit), and the braai area. The property has two marked hiking trails (5 km route) with scenic views. Unlimited firewood is supplied for the fireplace and hot tub. Free WiFi is available throughout.
Secluded Montagu Hills
Suidster is located 29 km from Hick's Art Gallery, 30 km from Montagu Golf Club, and 50 km from Bonnievale Golf Club. The cottage sits high in the hills with no immediate neighbors. Gravel road access requires caution (low-clearance vehicles may struggle with bushes). The nearest shops are 30 minutes away by car.
Host & Practical Services
The host, Willem, provides WhatsApp support before, during, and after the stay. Free parking, pet-friendly (on request), non-smoking rooms, soundproof rooms, and heating are available. Fire extinguishers are provided. Note: no blackout curtains (bring an eye mask if light-sensitive); no shampoo or conditioner provided; bring own cooking oil and milk. Guests can check in using a code supplied by the host.
